Chestnut Avenue and Walkden Park and Ride

Salford City Council intends to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Salford City Council (Chestnut Avenue, Salford) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2021

The proposed order will introduce the following restrictions:

No waiting at any time on:  

Chestnut Avenue

• North side from a point 10 metres west from the western kerbline of the entry to the car park to a point 10 metres east from the eastern kerbline of the entry to the car park.
• North side from a point 10 metres north west from the north western kerbline of the exit from the car park to a point 10 metres south east from the south eastern kerbline of the exit from the car park.

Walkden Park and Ride

The proposed order will introduce Off-Street Parking Places, in the Walkden Park And Ride Car Park (see schedule below).

Copies of the proposed Orders, plans of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the above Orders may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
