Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The title and effect of the Orders is as follows:
Limited waiting parking places, width 2.2m from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Waiting limited to two
hours. No return within two hours. Exemption for resident's parking permit holders.
- Chorley Road, south west side, from a point 10m north west kerbline (extended) of Broom Street for a distance of 34m in a north
westerly direction.
- Chorley Road, south west side, from a point 10m north west kerbline (extended) of Beech Street for a distance of 43m in north westerly direction.
- Chorley Road, south west side, from a point 10m north west kerbline (extended) of Bain Street for a distance of 53m in north westerly direction.
- Chorley Road, south west side, from a point 5m south west kerbline (opposite extended) of Pendlebury Road for a distance of 11m in a south easterly direction.
Prohibition of waiting - no loading/unloading between 7.30am to 9.30am and 4pm to 6.30pm on Monday to
Saturday inclusive
- Chorley Road, south west side, from north of the north western kerbline of Broom Street for a distance of 10m in north westerly
direction.
- Chorley Road, south side, from a point 10m south of the south eastern kerbline of Beech Street to a point 10m north of the north
western kerbline of Beech Street in a north westerly direction.
- Chorley Road, south west side, from a point 5m south east (opposite extended) kerbline of Pendlebury Road in a south easterly
direction to a point 15m in a north westerly direction.
No waiting at any time
- Chorley Road, south west side, from a point 10m south of the south east kerbline of Bain Street to a point 10m north of the north west kerbline of
Bain Street in north westerly direction.
- Chorley Road, south west side, from a point 16m south east (opposite extended) kerbline of Pendlebury Road for a distance of 14m in a south easterly direction.
Schedule
Properties eligible for issue of resident’s parking permit (Swinton Zone B)
- Chorley Road: Property numbers 2 to 80 (even numbers).
Residents parking permits
- Residents will be able to apply for permits for all vehicles registered to that address.
Business parking permits
- Residents that use a property as business premises will be eligible to apply for four business permits per each business.
Visitor’s parking permit charges
- Residents will be able to apply for one visitor’s parking permit.
Carer’s parking permit
- Residents that require essential care and support on a regular basis may be eligible to apply for a carer’s parking permit. Please contact City Council for further information.
Eligibility for parking permits
- Residents at all the streets/properties listed in the Schedule to this notice who meet qualifying criteria will be eligible to apply for a residents parking permit.
Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals.
A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday.
If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 8 April 2019 (quoting ref L/TG/OUT1093/528).
