Deanscourt Avenue and Everton Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the orders is as follows:

Parking for permit holders only from 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday on:

Deanscourt Avenue

  • Both sides from its junction with Deans Road for the full length

Everton Street

  • Both sides from its junction with Deanscourt Avenue to St Peter’s Road

Schedule

Properties eligible for issue of resident’s parking permit (Swinton Zone B) for all above scheme.

  • Deanscourt Avenue - property numbers 13 to 23 (odd numbers) and property numbers 26 to 52 (even numbers)
  • Haywood Street - property numbers five to seven (odd numbers)

Residents parking permits

  • Residents will be able to apply for permits for all vehicles registered to that address.

Business parking permits

  • Residents that use a property as business premises will be eligible to apply for four business permits per each business.

Visitor’s parking permit charges

  • Residents will be able to apply for one visitor’s parking permit.

Carer’s parking permit

  • Residents that require essential care and support on a regular basis may be eligible to apply for a carer’s parking permit. Please contact Salford City Council for further information.

Eligibility for parking permits

  • Residents at all the streets/properties listed in the schedule to this notice who meet qualifying criteria will be eligible to apply for a residents parking permit.

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals.

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 8 April 2019 (quoting ref L/TG/OUT1093/694).
