Dudley Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the City of Salford (Dudley Street, Andover Street, Moor Street and Hampson Street, Barton and Winton) (Prohibition of Waiting, No Stopping on School Entrance Markings and Amendment) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

No Waiting at Any Time on 

• Dudley Street, south west side, from its cul-de-sac end for 17m north westerly
• Dudley Street, both sides, from Andover Street for 10m south easterly 
• Andover Street, south east side, from 10m south west from Dudley Street to 10m north east from Dudley Street
• Moor Street, north west side, from New Lane to 15m north east from Hampson Street
• Moor Street, south east side, from Hampson Street for 11m north easterly
• Hampson Street, north east side, from Moor Street for 18m south easterly; and 
• Hampson Street, south west side, from New Lane to 18m south east from Moor Street.

No Stopping on School Entrance Markings – Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (Beech Street Community Primary School) on 

• Moor Street, south east side, from  11m north east from Hampson Street for 31m north easterly
• Moor Street, south east side, from 2m south west from Atherton Street for 31m south westerly
• Hampson Street, north east side, from 18m south east from Moor Street for 26m south easterly; and
• Beech Street, north west side, from 5m south west from Atherton Street for 31m south westerly.

Existing Orders will be amended/ revoked to facilitate the above. A copy of the proposed Order together with a plan showing the proposals, a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order and copies of the Orders it is proposed to amend/ revoke may be inspected at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
