Dudley Street area

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to construct speed cushions and a flat top road hump in the lengths of Dudley Street specified in the schedule below.

Speed cushions, no greater than 75mm high (+/- 15mm) 3.7 metres in length and 1.7 metres in width, constructed with shallow approach ramps with gradients no steeper than 1:10. The mid-points of the speed cushions will be located as follows: 30.5 metres south east from the south eastern extended kerbline of Agnes Street. 12.8 metres south east from the south eastern extended kerbline of Marlborough Road. 26.3 metres north west from the north western extended kerbline of Chisledon Avenue. 19 metres south east from the south eastern extended kerbline of Maudsley Close. 

Flat Top road hump, no greater than 75mm high (+/- 15mm) 4.5 metres in length, full width of the carriageway, constructed with shallow approach ramps with gradients no steeper than 1:10. The mid-point of the flat top road hump is 12.25 metres north west from the north western extended kerbline of Marlborough Road.

If no objections are received, road humps will be constructed on the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below after 27 June 2019.

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm from Monday to Friday. 

If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing by 27 June 2019 (quoting ref L/TG/OUT1093/732).
