Traffic regulation order: Franklin Street and Pym Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

City of Salford (Franklin Street, Eccles) (Prohibition of Waiting and Amendment) Order 2025 

The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:

Removal of existing No Waiting At Any Time restrictions:

Franklin Street 

• west side from a point 15m south of its junction with Cromwell Road for 25m in a southerly direction
• west side from a point 10m south of the southern extended kerbline of Pym Street for 20m in a southerly direction.

No Waiting At Any Time Restrictions to be retained:

Franklin Street

• both sides from its junction with Cromwell Road for a distance of 15m
• west side from its junction with Shakespeare Crescent to a point 10m north of the northern extended kerbline of Vane Street
• west side, from a point 10m south of the southern extended kerbline of Pym Street to a point 10m north of the northern extended kerbline of Pym Street. 

Pym Street

• both sides, from the western extended kerbline of Franklin Street for 5m in a westerly direction
