Gore Street

The council of the city of Salford proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The title and effects of the order is as follows:

City of Salford (Gore Street) Prohibition of Waiting And No Loading/ Unloading) Order 2021

The order will introduce the following restrictions.

No Waiting At Any Time On

Gore Street:

North west side, from the south western extended kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street for a distance of 7.65 metres in a south westerly direction.

North west side, from a point 31.65 metres south west from the south western extended kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street for a distance of 22.75 metres in a south westerly direction.

North west side, from a point 66.4 metres south west from the south western extended kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street to junction with A6042 Trinity Way.

South east side, from south westerly extended kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street to its junction with A6042 Trinity Way.

No Loading At Any Time On

Gore Street:

North west side, from the south western extended kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street for a distance of 7.65 metres in a south westerly direction.

North west side, from a point 31.65 metres south west from the south western extended kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street for a distance of 22.75 metres in a south westerly direction.

North west side, from a point 66.4 metres south west from the south western extended kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street to junction with A6042 Trinity Way.

South east side, from south westerly extended kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street to its junction with A6042 Trinity Way.

North west side, from a point 7.65 metres south west from the south western extended kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street for a distance of 12 metres in a south westerly direction having a width of 2.4 metres.

City of Salford (Gore Street) (Designated Parking Places for Loading/Unloading) Order 2021

Loading/Unloading Parking Places on

Gore Street:

From a point 19.65 metres south west from the south western extended kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street for a distance of 12 metres in a south westerly direction.

From a point 54.4 metres south west from the south western extended kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street for a distance of 12 metres in a south westerly direction.

Salford City Council Road Humps Notice 2021

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford in exercise of its powers under Sections 90(A) and 90(C) and 90(D) of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 intend to construct road humps in the lengths of road specified in the schedule below.

If no objections are received road humps will be constructed on the lengths of road as detailed in the schedule below after 14 May 2021.

Schedule

Gore Street: One Flat Top Road Hump

Road hump – 75mm high (+/- 15mm), 13.6 metres in length and the full width of the carriageway, constructed with shallow approach ramps with gradients no steeper than 1:12. The mid-point of the flat top road hump is at a point 116.75 metres south west from the extended south western kerbline of A34 New Bailey Street.
