Traffic regulation order: Granary Lane and Barton Road

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

City of Salford (Granary Lane And Barton Road, Worsley And Westwood Park) (Prohibition Of Waiting and Amendment) Order 2026

The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:

No waiting at any time:

B5211 Barton Road: south west side from 13.2m north west from the westerly projected kerbline of Granary Lane for 68m in a south easterly direction.

Granary Lane:

1. east side from the south-westerly projected kerbline of Barton Road for 15m in a southerly direction
2. west side from the south-westerly projected kerbline of Barton Road to the north-easterly projected kerbline of Beansfields.

An existing Order shall be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals. A copy of the proposed Order, the Order it is proposed to amend, the Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
