Guildford Road and Light Oaks Road

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
 
City of Salford (Guildford Road and Light Oaks Road) (Prohibition of Waiting and Amendment) Order 2025 

No Waiting at Any Time

The effect of the Order will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time on:

Guildford Road: 

• both sides from the south easterly projected kerbline of Light Oaks Road, for a distance of 15 metres in a south easterly direction.

Light Oaks Road: 

• South East Side from a point 10 metres south west from the south westerly projected kerbline of Guildford Road, to a point 10 metres north east of the north easterly projected kerbline of Guildford Road.

No Stopping on School Entrance Markings

The effect of the Order will be to introduce No Stopping on School Entrance Markings Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm:

Light Oaks Road Primary School: 

• Light Oaks Road northwest side from a point 13 metres northeast of the north easterly projected kerbline of Guildford Road, for a distance of 44 metres in a south westerly direction.

Existing Orders shall be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals.
