Hersey Street, Horsham Street and Liverpool Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

City of Manchester (Hersey Street, Horsham Street and Liverpool Street) (Prohibition of Waiting and Limited Waiting Parking Places) Order 2025

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

No Waiting At Any Time on:

Hersey Street

• Both sides from the southerly projected kerbline of Liverpool Street for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction.

Horsham Street

• Both sides from the southerly projected kerbline of Liverpool Street for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction.

Liverpool Street

• South side from a point 5 metres west of the western projected kerb line of Hersey Street, to a point 5 metres east of the eastern projected kerb line of Hersey Street.
• South side from a point 5 metres west of the western projected kerb line of Horsham Street, to a point 5 metres east of the eastern projected kerb line of Horsham Street. 

Proposed Limited Waiting Parking Place. Operative 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday Waiting limited to two hours. No return within two hours on: 

Liverpool Street

• From a point 5 metres east of the eastern projected kerb line of Hersey Street for a distance of 24 metres in an easterly direction with a width of 2 metres. 

City of Salford (Liverpool Street) (Prohibition of Parking on Verge and Footway) Order 2025 

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

No Parking at Any Time on Verge and Footway on:

• The verges and footways adjoining the south side of Liverpool Street from a point 5 metres east of the eastern projected kerb line of Hersey Street for a distance of 24 meters in an easterly direction.

A copy of the proposed Order together with a plan showing the proposals and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
