20mph speed limit order 2016

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit restriction on the following roads for their entire length unless otherwise stated:

  • Bentley Road
  • Brantwood Road
  • Broom Avenue
  • Broom Lane
  • Castlefield Road
  • Cheltenham Crescent
  • Eastleigh Avenue
  • Hanover Gardens
  • Ingledene Avenue
  • Kingston Close
  • Knightsbridge Close
  • Legh Street
  • Legh Road
  • Marston Road
  • Merrybower Road
  • New Hall Avenue
  • New Hall Road
  • Oakham Mews
  • Okeover Road
  • Old Hall Road
  • Park Lane
  • Park Street
  • Parklake Avenue
  • Pearl Avenue
  • Roston Road
  • Rutland Drive
  • Segal Close
  • Singleton Close
  • Singleton Road
  • Stanley Road
  • Waterpark Road
  • Worthington Drive
  • Holden Road - from Singleton Road to Park Street
  • Upper Park Road - from Singleton Road to Leicester Road 

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.
