Liverpool Road and St John Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The title and effect of the proposed orders are as follows:

City of Salford (St John Street, Cadishead and Lower Irlam) (Prohibition of waiting and amendment) order 2021

No waiting at any time on:  

St John Street

  • Both sides, from B5320 Liverpool Road for 10m in a westerly direction.

City of Salford (Liverpool Road, Higher Irlam and Peel Green) designated parking place for limited waiting) order 2021

Limited waiting parking place. Monday to Saturday. 9am to 5pm. Maximum stay two hours. No return within two hours.

Liverpool Road

  • North side from a point 15m north east from the north east extended kerbline of Marlborough Road for 29m in a north easterly direction with a width of 2m.

Existing orders are to be amended to be consistent with the above proposals. A copy of the proposed order together with the plan showing the proposals and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be inspected at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
