Liverpool Road Lay-by

Salford City Council proposes to make the Salford City Council (A57 Liverpool Road Lay-By, Higher Irlam and Peel Green) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

No Waiting at Any Time on the following lengths of the lay-by adjoining the north-east-bound carriageway of A57 Liverpool Road (at its junction with Barton Moss Road): 

• north west side, from Barton Moss Road for 108m north easterly
• south east side, from 3m north east from Barton Moss Road for 74m north easterly
• north side, from 23m west from the southern lay-by end to 25m east from the southern lay-by end; and 
• south side, from the southern lay-by end for 23m westerly.

A copy of the proposed Order together with plans showing the proposals and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
