Restriction of waiting order 2016

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to introduce the following:

No waiting from Monday to Friday, between 7.30am and 9.30am and between 3.00pm and 6.00pm on Liverpool Street:

  • North side, from a point 80 metres east of its junction with Langworthy Road, in an easterly direction to its junction with Highfield Road.
  • North side, from a point 30 metres west of its junction with Port Soderick Avenue, in an easterly direction to a point 30 metres west of its junction with Cross Lane.
  • South side, from a point 30 metres west of its junction with Port Soderick Avenue, in an easterly direction to a point 37 metres west of its junction with Cross Lane.
  • South side, from a point 52 metres west of its junction with Athole Street, in a westerly direction to a point 88 metres east of its junction with Langworthy Road.

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday inclusive.
