Proposed modification of experimental order

Notice is hereby given that 7 days from date of this notice the council of the city of Salford is to modify the following experimental orders under section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The below order is modified by the following:

City of Salford (Longwall Avenue, Worsley) (Prohibition of Waiting and Limited Waiting Parking Places) (Experimental) Order 2018

The above order will be amended to include the following lengths of road:

No waiting at any time on:

• Longwall Avenue (north) - south side from a point 15 metres east from its junction with the eastern kerbline of Reedley Drive in a north westerly direction for a distance of 44 metres. North side from a point 33 metres from its junction with the projected eastern kerbline of Helmclough Way in a south westerly direction for a distance of 80 metres.
• Longwall Avenue (south) - south side from a point 15 metres west from its junction with the western kerbline of Harbergham Close in a westerly direction for a distance of 5 metres. From a point 15 metres east from its junction with the eastern kerbline of Harbergham Close in an easterly direction for a distance of 5 metres.
• Reedley Avenue - both sides from its junction with the southern kerbline of Longwall Avenue (South) in a southerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.

A copy of the proposed order together with the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Mondays to Fridays.

Any person wishing to object should submit their grounds of objection in writing to Fiona Ledden, City Solicitor at the address below, no later than 20 February 2019. (6 months)
