Traffic regulation order: Manley Avenue

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

City of Salford (Manchester Road, Manley Avenue, Solway Close and Galloway Drive, Pendlebury And Clifton) (Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2026

The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:

No waiting at any time:

Manchester Road: north east side, from a point 10m northwest from the extended north-western kerbline of Manley Avenue to a point 10m south east from the extended south eastern kerbline of Manley Avenue in a south-easterly direction.

Manley Avenue

  1. both sides, from its junction with the north-easterly extended kerbline of Manchester Road in a north-easterly direction for 10m, 
  2. north-west side, from a point 39.5m northeast from its junction with the north-easterly extended kerbline of Manchester Road in a north-easterly direction for 16m, 
  3. south east, south, and south west side, from a point 39.5m northeast from its junction with the north-easterly extended kerbline of Manchester Road in a north-easterly direction for 12 metres then in an easterly and south-easterly direction for 23m, 
  4. north east side, from the extended western kerbline of Galloway Drive in a westerly direction for 18m, 
  5. north east side, from the extended south eastern kerbline of Galloway Drive in a southerly direction for 5m. 

Solway Close: south-west side, from the extended north-western kerbline of Manley Avenue in a north westerly direction for 11m.

Galloway Drive: both sides, from its junction with the north easterly extended kerbline of Manley Avenue in a north easterly direction for 5m.
