Mossfield Road area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

City of Salford (Little Moss Lane, Grosvenor Street, Worsley Street, Rutland Avenue, Carlisle Street, Pott Street, Brindley Street, Devon Street, Dorset Street, Kent Street, Mossfield Road, Mimosa Drive, Lees Street, Dumbell Street, Salford) (Prohibition of Waiting, Limited Waiting Parking Places and Amendment) Order 2025

The Order will introduce:

No Waiting At Any Time on: 

Little Moss Lane - South side from a point 10 metres north west from the extended western kerbline of Carlisle Street to 10 metres south east from the extended eastern kerbline of Carlisle Street.

Carlisle Street - both sides, from its junction with Little Moss Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a south westerly direction. West side from a point 10 metres North East from the extended Northern kerbline of Brindley Street to 10 metres South West from the extended Southern kerbline of Brindley Street. East side from a point 10 metres North East from the extended Northern kerbline of Pott Street to 10 metres South West from the extended Southern kerbline of Pott Street.

Pott Street – both sides from its junction with the Carlisle Street in an Easterly direction for 10 metres. Both sides from its junction with the Rutland Avenue in a Westerly direction for 10 metres.

Worsley Street – South side from the extended eastern kerbline of Carlisle Street in an Easterly direction to a point 10 metres east of the extended eastern kerbline of Rutland Avenue. North side from the extended eastern kerbline of Carlisle Street in an Easterly direction for 10 metres. South side From a point 10 metres West from the extended Western kerbline of Grosvenor Street to 10 metres East from the extended Eastern kerbline of Grosvenor Street.

Grosvenor Street – both sides from its junction with the Worsley Street in a Southerly direction for 10 metres. Both sides from its junction with the Mossfield Road in a Northerly direction for 10 metres.

Mossfield Road – North side from the extended Western kerbline of Grosvenor Street, in a easterly direction to 10 metres east from the extended eastern kerbline of Grosvenor Street. South side from a point 10 metres West from the extended Western kerbline of Dumbell Street to a point 10 metres East from the extended Eastern kerbline of Dumbell Street.

Dumbell Street – West side from the extended southern kerbline of Mossfield Road in Southeasterly direction for 10 metres.

Mossfield Road - both sides from its junction with the Bolton Road in a South Westerly direction for 10 metres.

Rutland Avenue - both sides From its junction with the Worsley Street in a Southerly direction for 10 metres. West side from a point 10 metres North from the extended northern kerbline of Pott Street in a southerly direction to 10 metres south of the extended southern kerbline of Pott Street.

Worsley Street - south side from the extended western kerbline of Carlisle Street in a Westerly direction for 10 metres.

Devon Street - south and east side from a point 23 metres North East from the extended Northern kerbline of Brindley Street in Northerly and Easterly direction for 7.5 metres. Both sides from a point 10 metres North East from the extended Northern kerbline of Brindley Street to 10 metres South West from the extended Southern kerbline of Brindley Street. West side from a point 10 metres North East from the extended Northern kerbline of Dorset Street to 10 metres South West from the extended Southern kerbline of Dorset Street.

Dorset Street - both sides from its junction with the Devon Street in a Westerly direction for 10 metres.

Devon Street – both sides from its junction with the Mossfield Road in a Northerly direction for 10 metres.

Mossfield Road – north side from a point 10 metres West from the extended Western kerbline of Devon Street to 10 metres East from the extended Eastern kerbline of Devon Street. North side from a point 10 metres West from the extended Western kerbline of Kent Street to 10 metres East from the extended Eastern kerbline of Kent Street.

Kent Street - both sides from its junction with the Mossfield Road in a Northerly direction for 10 metres.

Brindley Street – both sides from its junction with the Devon Street in a Westerly direction for 10 metres. Both sides from its junction with the Devon Street in an Easterly direction for 10 metres. Both sides from its junction with the Carlisle Street in a Westerly direction for 10 metres.

Lees Street – North side from a point 30 metres South East of the extended southern kerbline of Mossfield Road in a south easterly direction for 120 metres. South side from a point 36 metres northwest from its junction with Station Road for 10 metres in north westerly direction.

Proposed Limited Waiting from Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm, 1 hour stay and no return within 2 hours on:

Mossfield Road – south side from a point 10 metres southwest from its junction with Bolton Road in a south westerly direction for 55 metres.

Proposed No Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm:

Mossfield Road – north side from a point 10 metres southwest from its junction with Bolton Road in a south westerly direction for 55 metres.
