Traffic regulation order: Northallerton Road

Salford City Council proposes to make the:

City of Salford (Northallerton Road and St Aidan’s Grove, Kersal and Broughton Park) (No Stopping on School Entrance Markings, Prohibition of Waiting, Restriction of Waiting and Amendment) Order 2025

The effect of the order will be to introduce the following:

No stopping on school entrance markings (Lower Kersal Community Primary School) Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm:

Northallerton Road:

1. southeast side from 46m northeast of Littleton Road north easterly for 37.4m, 
2. southeast side from 108.7m northeast of Littleton Road north easterly for 26.5m. St Aidan’s Grove, northwest and northeast side from 26.8m northeast of Littleton Road north easterly for 25.56m.

No waiting at any time: 

Existing restrictions on the southeast side of St Aidan’s Grove will be extended along the southwest side for 17.2m (opposite numbers 2 to 4 St Aidan’s Grove).

No waiting – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm:

Northallerton Road:

1. southeast side from 10m northeast of Littleton Road north easterly for 36m
2. southeast side from 83.4m northeast of Littleton Road north easterly for 25.3m. St Aidan’s Grove northwest side from 13m northeast of Littleton Road north easterly for 13.8m

Existing orders shall be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals. 

A copy of the proposed Order, copies of the Orders it is proposed to amend, the Statement of Reasons, and a plan showing the proposals may be inspected at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
