Introduction of 20mph speed limit order 2017

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the Old Clough Lane area. The effect of the proposed order is to introduce 20mph speed limit restrictions on the following roads for their entire length, unless otherwise stated:  

  • Arthur Street
  • Crosby Avenue
  • Devoke Avenue
  • Francis Avenue
  • Ghyll Grove
  • How Clough Close
  • How Clough Drive
  • Kendal Grove
  • Keswick Road
  • Langdale Drive
  • Old Clough Lane
  • Penrith Avenue
  • Poplar Road
  • Shap Crescent
  • Shap Drive
  • Spring Clough Avenue
  • Spring Clough Drive
  • Waters Edge
  • Woodside Avenue
  • Laburnum Road from its junction with Birch Road in an easterly direction to its junction with Devoke Avenue

A copy of the proposed order together with a plan and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday.
