Traffic regulation order: Park Street and Bury New Road

Salford City Council proposed to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

City of Salford (Park Street and Bury New Road, Kersal and Broughton Park) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026

The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce the following provisions:

No Waiting At Any Time:

Park Street

  • North-west side, from the north easterly projected kerbline of Bury New Road, for 40m in a north easterly direction.
  • South-east side, from the north easterly projected kerbline of Bury New Road, for 37.3m in a north easterly direction.

Bury New Road

  • North-east side, from the south-easterly projected kerbline of Park Street, for 10m in a south-easterly direction.

A copy of the Orders, the plans and the statement of the council’s reasons for proposing to make the above Orders will be available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be requested via the email phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the postal address below. 

Any person wishing to object should submit their grounds of objection in writing to:
