Regent Street

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

City of Salford (Regent Street, Eccles, Salford) (Prohibition of Waiting and Amendment) Order 2025

The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce the following provisions:

No Waiting At Any Time on: 

Regent Street

• North side, from its junction with Church Street, to the westerly projected kerbline of College Croft.
• South side, from its junction with Church Street, for a distance of 43.5m in an easterly direction.

Existing Orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals. 
 
A copy of the Order, a plan and the statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the above Order will be available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be requested via the email phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the postal addresses below. 

Any person wishing to object should submit their grounds of objection in writing to:
