Shearwater Drive and Cormorant Close

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

City of Salford (Shearwater Drive and Cormorant Close, Walkden) Prohibition of Waiting Order 2025. 

The effect of the Order will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time on: 

Shearwater Drive: 

  • Both sides, from southwestern extended kerb line of Manchester Road East, in a southerly direction for 12m
  • East side, from a point 10m north of northeastern extended kerb line of Cormorant Close, in a southerly direction to a point 10m south of the south westerly extended kerb line of Cormorant Close.

Cormorant Close:

  • Both sides, from the eastern extended kerb line of Shearwater Drive, in a south easterly direction for 10m
  • North East side, from a point 76.7m south east of the eastern extended kerb line of Shearwater Drive, in a south easterly direction for 7m, including all of the turning head.
