Traffic regulation order: Shipley Avenue

Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

City of Salford (Shipley Avenue area, Weaste and Seedley) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026

The effect of the Order will be to introduce the following:

No Waiting At Any Time:

Wentworth Avenue

  • north east side from 10m north west of the north westerly projected kerbline of Otley Avenue to 10m south east of the south easterly projected kerbline of Otley Avenue,
  • north east side from 10m north west of the north westerly projected kerbline of Normanton Avenue to 10m south east of the south easterly projected kerbline of Normanton Avenue
  • south west side from 10m north west of the north westerly projected kerbline of Normanton Avenue to 10m south east of the south easterly projected kerbline of Normanton Avenue
  • north east side from 10m north west of the north-westerly projected kerbline of Langsett Avenue 10m south east of the south easterly projected kerbline of Langsett Avenue
  • both sides from its junction with Hebden Avenue for 10m in a north westerly direction. 

Otley Avenue

  • both sides from its junction with Wentworth Avenue, for 10m in a northerly direction.

Normanton Avenue

  • both sides from its junction with Wentworth Avenue for 10m in a north-easterly direction
  • both sides from its junction with Wentworth Avenue for 10m in a south-westerly direction
  • both sides from its junction with Tootal Drive for 10m in a north easterly direction. 

Langsett Avenue

  • both sides from its junction with Wentworth Avenue for 10m in a north-easterly direction.

Hebden Avenue

  • north west side from 10m north east of the north-easterly projected kerbline of Wentworth Avenue to 10m south west of the south westerly projected kerbline of Wentworth Avenue
  • north west side from 10m north east of the north-easterly projected kerbline of Shipley Avenue to a 10m south west of the south westerly projected kerbline of Shipley Avenue. 

Shipley Avenue

  • both sides from its junction with Hebden Avenue for 10m in a north-westerly direction. 

Tootal Drive

  • north east side from 10m south east of the south easterly projected kerbline of Normanton Avenue to 10m north west of the north westerly projected kerbline of Normanton Avenue.
