South Ordsall phase 4

Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders. 

City of Salford (Paris Avenue) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2023 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the proposed order will be to introduce the following provision:

No Waiting at Any Time:

Paris Avenue

• West and south side, from 6m south from the south of Lord Napier Drive, for 71 m in a south and then south east direction.

City of Salford (Percy Drive, South Ordsall) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2023.

The effect of the proposed order will be to introduce the following provision:

No Waiting at Any Time:

Percy Drive

• North west side from 8m south west from south west of St Clement’s Drive, for 73m in south west direction, around the cul-de-sac end to boundary of house number 23 Percy Drive.

City of Salford (Old Field Road and Surrounding Streets, South Ordsall) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2023.

The effect of the proposed order will be to introduce the following provision:

No Waiting at Any Time:

Oldfield Road

• North west side, from 15m south west from the south west of Robert Hall Street, for 37m in a south west direction.

Mount Carmel Crescent

• North east side, from 32m north west from north west of Oldfield Road, for 14m in north west direction

• Both sides, from 86m north west and then north east from the north west of Oldfield Road to its cul-de-sac end.

Robert Hall Street

• North east side, from 15m north west from north west of Oldfield Road for 44m in a north west direction.

• North east side, from 10m north west from the north west of Carmel Avenue, 17m south east of the south east of Carmel Avenue.

• South west side, from 31m south east from the south east of Cloughfield Avenue, for 23m in a south east direction.

• North east side, from 10m north west from north west of Cloughfield Avenue, to 10m south east of the south east of Cloughfield Avenue.

• North side, from 10m north west from north west of Belfort Drive, to 10m south east of the south east of Belfort Drive.

• South west side, from 10m north west from the north west of Brownfield Avenue, to 10m south east of Brownfield Avenue.

Carmel Avenue

• Both sides, from its junction with Robert Hall Street, for a 10m in a north east direction.

Cloughfield Avenue

• Both sides, from its junction with Robert Hall Street, for 10m in a north east direction.

Belfort Drive

• Both sides, from its junction with Robert Hall Street, for a distance of 10m in a north east direction.

Brownfield Avenue

• Both sides, from its junction with Robert Hall Street, for 10m in a south west direction.

A copy of the proposed order together with the plans and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
