Traffic regulation order: Stablefold

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

City of Salford (Stablefold, Worsley and Westwood Park) (Prohibition of Waiting and Amendment) Order 2026

The effect of the proposed Order will be to introduce the following provisions:

No Waiting At Any Time on:

Stablefold

  • North-west and north-east side, from the north-easterly extended kerbline of Barton Road, in a north-easterly, easterly then south-easterly direction, to a point 9.2m south of the southerly extended kerbline of Chandlers Row.
  • South-east side, from the north-easterly extended kerbline of Barton Road, for a distance of 32.2m in a north-easterly direction.

Existing Orders shall be amended to accommodate the proposal.

A copy of the Orders, the plans and the statement of the council’s reasons for proposing to make the above Orders will be available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be requested via the email phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the postal address below. 

Any person wishing to object should submit their grounds of objection in writing to:
