Prohibition and restriction of waiting and Limited Waiting Parking Places and amendment) Order 2016 

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Counci proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be to introduce: 

1 Proposed no waiting at any time on 

Sutherland Street The north west side from its junction with the north east projected kerbline of Chorley Road in a north east direction to its junction with the south west projected kerbline of Rutland Street. The south east side from its junction with the north east projected kerbline with Chorley Road in a north east direction for a distance of 10m. The south east side from a point 25m north east of its junction with the north east projected kerbline of Chorley Road in a north east direction for a distance of 7m The south east side from a point 59m north east of its junction with the north east projected kerbline of Chorley Road in a north east direction for a distance of 11m. Both sides from a point 92m north east of its junction with the north east projected kerbline of Chorley Road in a north east, and southern direction for the remainder of its length. 

Rutland Street The north east side from its junction with the north west projected kerbline of Sutherland Street in a north westerly direction for a distance of 82m. The south west side from a point 62m, north west of its junction with the north west projected kerbline of Sutherland Street in a north westerly direction for a distance of 47m. 

Elm Street The north west side from its junction with the north east projected kerbline of Chorley Road in a north east direction for a distance of 10m. The north west side from a point 22m north of its junction with the north east projected kerbline of Chorley Road in a north east direction for a distance of 15m. The north west side from a point 52m north east from its junction with the north east projected kerbline of Chorley Road in a north east direction to its junction with the south west projected kerbline of Rutland Street. The south east side from its junction with the north projected kerbline of Chorley Road in a north east direction for a distance of 10m. 

2 No waiting Monday to Saturday 8am to 4pm on:

Elm Street The south east side from a point 10m north east of its junction with the north east projected kerbline of Chorley Road (A6) in a north east direction to its junction with the south west projected kerbline of Rutland Street. 

3 No waiting Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm on:

Rutland Street The north east side from a point 82m NW from the projected north west kerbline of Sutherland Street in a north west direction to its junction with the south east projected kerbline of Cemetery Road. The south west side from its junction with the south east projected kerbline of Cemetery Road in a south east direction for a distance of 15m.         

4 Limited waiting parking places. Waiting limited to 30 minutes, no return within one hour on: 

Sutherland Street The south east side from a point 10m north east of its junction with the north east projected kerbline of Chorley Road (A6) in a north east direction for a distance of 15m. 

5 Limited waiting parking places. Waiting limited to two hours, no return within one hour on: 

Elm Street The north west side from a point 10m north east of its junction with the north east projected kerbline of Chorley Road (A6) in a north east direction for a distance of 12m. The north west side from a point 37m north east of its junction with the north east projected kerbline of Chorley Road (A6) in a north east direction for a distance of 15m. 

Existing Orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals. 

A copy  of the proposed Order together with the plans showing the proposals may be inspected at Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays.
