Highways Act 1980 - Section 90a, Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, Proposed Speed Cushions on The Quays, Salford

Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to construct Speed Cushions in the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below.

If no objections are received, speed cushions will be constructed on the length of road as detailed in the Schedule below after 27 November 2023.

Copies of the proposed Orders, a plan of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the above Order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

Alternatively write in to the address below or email the council for a copy of the documents.

Objections to the proposal must be sent to me in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or on the address below, stating the grounds on which they are made by 27 November 2023. Please quote reference VMU/SCC006/01116

Speed cushions

75mm high (+/- 15mm), 3.7 metres in length, 1.5m wide and constructed with shallow approach ramps, with gradients no steeper than 1:10.

  • The Quays at a point 227m SW of the SW projected kerbline of Anchorage Quay
  • The Quays at a point 397m SW of the SW projected kerbline of Anchorage Quay
  • The Quays at a point 459m SW of the SW projected kerbline of Anchorage Quay
  • The Quays at a point 536m SW of the SW projected kerbline of Anchorage Quay
