Traffic regulation order: Tootal Grove

The Salford City Council proposes to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

  • City of Salford (Tootal Grove) Prohibition of Waiting Order 2026
  • City of Salford (Tootal Grove and Surrounding Areas) (20 Mph Speed Limit Zone) Order 2026

The effect of the Orders will be to introduce:

No Waiting At Any Time on:

Tootal Grove:

  1. North side from its cul-de-sac end of Tootal Grove, for a distance of 99 meters in an easterly direction, 
  2. South side from a point 12 meters east from the cul-de-sac end of Tootal Grove to a point 10 meters east of the turning head, and including the turning head.

20 MPH Speed limit on the following roads for their entire length unless otherwise specified:

  • Meadowgate Road
  • Kennedy Road
  • Laurel Grove
  • Don Avenue
  • Bradfield Avenue
  • Glendore
  • New Cross Street
  • Barff Road
  • Whiteside Close
  • Brookfield Avenue
  • Ryecroft Avenue
  • Tootal Grove
  • Tootal Drive between its junction with Edward Avenue and Birchleaf Grove

The proposed documents may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm inclusive. Details can be viewed on this page.
