Tweedale Street area

Salford City Council proposes to make the following order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

City of Salford (Netherland Street, Tweedale Street and Jane Street, Salford) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2022 

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

No Waiting at Any Time:

Netherland Street

  • South side, from its junction with the easterly projected kerbline of Tweedale Street, for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction.
  • North side, from a point 59 metres from the westerly projected kerbline of Howard Street in a westerly direction for its entire length.
  • South side, from the westerly projected kerbline of Tweedale Street, in a westerly direction to its cul-de-sac end.

Jane Street

  • Both sides, from its junction with the westerly projected kerbline of Tweedale Street, for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.
  • South side, from a point 95 metres from the westerly projected kerbline of Tweedale Street to its cul-de-sac end.
  • North side, from a point 116 metres from the westerly projected kerbline of Tweedale Street to its cul-de-sac end.

Tweedale Street

  • Both sides, from its junction with the southerly projected kerbline of Netherland Street, for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
  • West side, from a point 10 metres north of the northerly projected kerbline of Jane Street, to a point 10 metres south of the southerly projected kerbline of Jane Street.

City of Salford (Netherland Street, Tweedale Street and Jane Street Salford) (Introduction of 20 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2022

The effect of the above Order will be to introduce 20 MPH speed limit on the following lengths of roads for their entire lengths:

  • Netherland Street
  • Tweedale Street
  • Jane Street

A copy of the Order and plan will be available for inspection at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm inclusive.
