Weaste Road and Weaste Lane

Salford City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

City of Salford (Weaste Road and Weaste Lane) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Restriction of Loading/Unloading and Amendment) Order 2025

The Order will introduce:

No Waiting At Any Time on: 

Weaste Road:

  • north west side from the southern extended kerbline of Tootal Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 45 metres
  • south east side from the southern extended kerbline of Tootal Road, in a south westerly direction for a distance of 30 metres
  • north west side from a point 4 metres south west of the south westerly projected kerbline of Calvert Street to its junction with Eccles New Road
  • south east side from its junction with Eccles New Road, to its junction with Calvert Street

Weaste Lane:

  • east side from the northerly projected kerbline of Liverpool Street, to its junction with Chandos Grove
  • west side from the northerly projected kerbline of Liverpool Street, for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction

Derby Road:

  • south east side from the north easterly projected kerbline of Bridson Street, for a distance of 84 metres in a north easterly direction
  • north west side from a point 7 metres north east of the north easterly projected kerbrline of Bridson Street, for a distance of 77 metres in a north easterly direction

No Waiting Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm: 

Weaste Road: south east side from a point 30 metres southwest of Weaste Lane in a southerly direction for a distance of 59 metres

Weaste Lane: north east side from a point 20 metres south east of the southerly extended kerbline of Liverpool Street for a distance of 43.5 metres in a south easterly direction.

No Loading/Unloading Monday to Saturday 8am to 9.30am and 4.30pm to 6.30pm:

Weaste Road: north west side from the southern extended kerbline of Tootal Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 43 metres.

Existing Orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with the proposals. 
 
The proposed documents may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be requested via the email phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the postal addresses below.
