Wellington Road/Crescent

Salford City Council proposes to make the following orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The title and effects of the orders are as follows:

Electric Vehicle Recharging Parking Places And Amendment

The order will introduce the following Electric Vehicle Recharging Parking Places, operative at all times on all days, maximum stay 90 minutes, no return within four hours on:

Wellington Road

• From a point 18 metres northeast of the north eastern projected kerb line of Chorley Road for a distance of 12m in a north easterly direction.

Crescent 

• From a point 38 metres north west from the extended western kerbline of Hulme Street for a distance of 12 metres in a north westerly direction.

Limited Waiting Parking And Loading/Unloading Parking Places

The order will introduce the following:

Limited Waiting Parking Place. Operative 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday Waiting limited to one hour. No return within two hours on:

Wellington Road

• From a point 30 metres northeast of the northern projected kerb line of Chorley Road for a distance of 11m in a north easterly direction. Loading Parking Place.

Operative 7am to 7pm Monday to Sunday on:

Crescent

• from a point 32 metres north west from the extended western kerbline of Hulme Street for a distance of 6 metres in a north westerly direction.

Copies of the proposed orders, plans of the area and statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the orders may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (due to the COVID-19 restrictions, please ensure that the Civic Centre is open before attending). Alternatively, copies of the documentation may be viewed at Unity House, Swinton, M27 5FJ. The plans will be displayed to the left of the main (and only public) entrance to the building, adjacent to the public car park at the Civic Centre.
