West Crown Avenue, Coronation Street, Goodiers Drive and Phoebe Street

The council of the City of Salford proposes to make The City of Salford (West Crown Avenue, Coronation Street, St Ignatius Walk and Adjacent Streets, Ordsall) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading Restriction, Limited Waiting Parking Place and Amendment) Order 2018 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of proposed Order will be as follows:

No waiting at any time

West Crown Avenue:        

  1. East side, from a point 6.5 metres south east of its junction with the extended southern kerbline of Coronation Street for a distance of 65.2 metres in a north westerly and then north easterly direction.
  2. West side, from a point 4.5 metres south west of its junction with the extended southern kerbline of Coronation Street for a distance of 56 metres in a north easterly direction to its junction with the southern kerbline of Regent Road.
  3. West and north side, from its junction with the southern kerbline of Regent Road for distance of 153.5 metres in a southerly and then westerly direction to its junction with the north easterly kerbline of Goodiers Drive.
  4. South side, from its junction with the north easterly kerbline of Goodiers Drive for a distance of 22.2 metres in an easterly direction. St Ignatius Walk - West side, from a point 15.5 metres south west of its junction with the extended southern kerbline of Coronation Street for a distance of 14.5 metres in a south westerly and then south easterly direction.

Coronation Street:

  • North, then east, south, east, north, and west side, from the western gable end of 38 Coronation Street, throughout the cul-de-sac access in a north westerly, then north easterly, south easterly, north easterly, north westerly and south easterly direction to the eastern gable end of 40 Coronation Street.
  • North, then west side, from its junction with the north westerly kerbline of Huddart Close for a distance of 46.9 metres in a westerly and then southerly direction.

Goodiers Drive:

North east side, from its junction with the north westerly kerbline of West Crown Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.

Phoebe Street:

East side, from its junction with the south easterly kerbline of West Crown Avenue for a distance of 10m in a southerly direction.

No Loading/Unloading, 8am to 9.30am Monday to Saturday and 4.30pm to 6pm Monday to Friday:

West Crown Avenue:

  1. East side, from its junction with Regent Road to a point 25 metres south of the southern kerbline of Regent Road.
  2. West side, from its junction with Regent Road to a point 25 metres south of the southern kerbline of Regent Road.

Limited Waiting Parking Place, Operative 9am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, Waiting limited to one Hour, no return within two hours

St Ignatius Walk:

North east side, from a point 4.5 metres south of its junction with the extended southern kerbline of Coronation Street for a distance of 11 metres in a south westerly direction.

Existing orders are to be amended so as to be consistent with proposals. A copy of the proposed order, a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
