Salford twin town - Narbonne

The beautiful town of Narbonne is traditionally a holiday town with lots of sun and is only a short drive away from the Mediterranean Sea and an eight kilometre beach of golden sand.

Narbonne, rich in heritage with an abundance of architecture and traditional festivals to attract visitors, was originally twinned with Eccles in 1957.

How you can be involved

The Salford-Narbonne Twinning Committee meets on the second Tuesday bi-monthly in the meeting room at Morrisons, Eccles, commencing at 6.45pm. The meetings are open to all who want to contribute to town twinning in Salford.

In the meetings of the town twinning forum, the Salford-Narbonne Association members are Councillor Hinds and Councillor Lancaster.
