Sign in or register for an accountSalford City Council are carrying out a public consultation on Conservation Area Appraisals and Management Plans (CAAMPs) and an update of the Local List of Heritage Assets in the district.
This consultation provides the opportunity to comment on the proposals and all representations will be considered prior to their formal adoption.
The draft CAAMPs and Local List can be downloaded from the respective pages below.
We will be hosting a number of public meetings/drop in sessions to discuss the CAAMPs and Local List where there will be the opportunity to view the relevant documents and speak to officers about the proposals. It will be possible to lodge feedback at these sessions or online.

During the consultation period paper copies of these documents can be viewed at the Salford Civic Centre reception in Swinton during normal opening hours, which is Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. They can also be viewed at the following locations during their normal opening hours:
Publicly accessible computers are available at all Salford libraries, Gateway centres and the Broughton Hub to view electronic copies of the CAAMPs and LL. Staff assistance is available if needed.
All comments must be received no later than 4.30pm on Monday 14 September 2026. Please note this has been extended due to Greater Manchester mayoral election. We will not be able to accept comments that are received after this deadline.

Once the consultation period has ended, all comments approval will be sought from Salford City Council’s Cabinet for approval. All representations will be considered prior to their formal adoption. This is expected to be in February 2027.
