Conservation area appraisals consultation 2026

Following a comprehensive review of Conservation Areas in Salford we are now consulting on draft documents for the existing conservation areas.

Four areas include boundary extensions:  

• Flat Iron
• Worsley Village
• Monton Green
• Adelphi/Bexley Square

The following area is proposed as a new Conservation Area:

• Ordsall

How to make comments on the draft Conservation Area Appraisals

All comments must be received no later than 4.30pm on Monday 14 September 2026. Please note this has been extended due to Greater Manchester mayoral election. We will not be able to accept comments that are received after this deadline.

Whilst it is not essential, we recommend that you use the feedback form for submitting your comments.
