October half term
The Christmas holidays
February half term
Children who live in Salford and are currently awarded free school meal eligibility either Targeted or Expanded scheme and are:
Home-educated
Attending independent schools in Salford
Attending special schools outside Salford
You only need to apply once, then you will be automatically issued vouchers for the next available holidays. No repeat application is needed.
Vouchers will be distributed ahead of each holiday period:
Most vouchers will be issued by your child’s school.
Home-educated pupils: Voucher codes will be emailed or mailed.
Pupils in special schools outside Salford: Voucher codes will be emailed or mailed.
Independent/Independent Special Schools in Salford: If you do not want supermarket vouchers, Kosher vouchers can be collected from Broughton Hub. A confirmation letter will be sent.
Only use the application form if your child is home-educated or attends an independent or independent special school.
Most schools in Salford are state-funded and not independent schools. Do not use the form if your child attends one of these schools.
Families must receive one of the following benefits:
Universal Credit
Income Support
Jobseeker’s Allowance
Employment and Support Allowance
Pension Credit
Certain tax credits
Support under the Immigration and Asylum Act
You may also qualify if you:
are an asylum seeker, or
have no recourse to public funds (NRPF)

If vouchers are issued by the school your child in Reception to Year 11 attends, then we can't help with your enquiry. You will have to speak to staff at your child's school.
