Safer Schools Hub

The Safer Schools Hub is a subscription based website providing a one-stop-shop for information, resources and tools to improve security, safety and emergency preparedness for schools.

The hub provides access to up to date advice and guidance developed from close links with partner agencies that is both research informed and relevant.

Safer School Award Scheme

The Safer Schools Hub facilitates access to the Safer Schools Award Scheme. This accreditation scheme offers a quality benchmark in security and risk management and demonstrates a school’s commitment to safety to help keep pupils, staff and the community safe.

How does a school apply to become a Safer Schools Hub subscriber?
