Year nine admissions to AldridgeUTC@MediaCityUK

AldridgeUTC@MediaCityUK opened on Salford Quays in September 2015. The college caters for pupils between the ages of 13 and 19. The college specialises in digital media courses: TV and film; graphics and design; radio and audio; and interactive media and gaming which are studied alongside core subjects.

First entry into the college is at the beginning of year nine. Places are also available in the sixth form to start in year 12. Prospective pupils should apply directly to the UTC:

The admissions criteria for both year nine and year 12 applicants to the college can be found on the school's website. Applications must be made directly to the school using the application form on their webpage.

Applicants to AldridgeUTC@MediaCityUK should be aware that applicants are placed in a 'zone' based on their home address. Places are then randomly allocated within each zone. Please check the admission criteria carefully before making your application.
