How do I make a request?

Enquiries regarding accessing adoption files

For organisations requesting information from the council about its citizens and/or service users, please submit a data protection request. See our data protection requests page for more information.

Complaints procedure for information rights requests

If you wish to complain about a subject access or other type of information rights request please visit the council’s complaints page.

Applicants who are not happy with the outcome of the complaint may ask the Information Commissioner to review the request and the way the council has dealt with it. The council will cooperate fully with the Information Commissioner.
