Applications for venues to be approved for marriage and civil partnership ceremonies

The Marriages (Approved Premises) Regulations 1995, Reg. 4

The council of the City of Salford, being the Authority for the purposes of the Marriages (Approved Premises) Regulations 1995, hereby give notice that the following application(s) have been made for approval of these premises for the solemnization of marriages in pursuance of Section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act 1949.

Each application, together with a plan of the premises which accompanies it, may be inspected at The Register Office, Town Hall, Chorley Road, Swinton M27 5DA between the hours of 9am and 4pm. 

Any person may give notice in writing of an objection to the grant of approval of such application, with reasons for the objection, within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice. Such notice of objection should be given to the Register Office and addressed to The Superintendent Registrar, The Register Office, Town Hall, Chorley Road, Swinton M27 5DA.

Please quote the application reference number (ref) in all cases.
