This is provided by Salford Employment Hub who will provide a solution to meet your needs and ensure local people are connected into the new opportunities your business will bring into Salford.

The menu of services provided by Salford Employment Hub include:

Account management

A single point of contact providing support by a dedicated Lead Account Manager to advise and liaise with you about your needs.

Recruitment and selection

A quality joined up approach to meet your recruitment and selection needs:

  • Identifying opportunities
  • Vacancy handling and advertisement
  • Direct access to a pool of local candidates
  • Support via processing, screening and assessment for applicants in order to facilitate the recruitment
  • Managing open days, jobs fairs and recruitment events
  • Providing premises for interviews
  • Development of employer specific pre-employment training programmes

Training and workforce development

Provide an advisory service to link in with training and funding providers to assist you with your training and workforce development needs. This will include access to the following: 

  • A range of apprenticeship frameworks (open to all age ranges)
  • Bespoke training courses designed with employers (NVQ level)
  • Advise on financial support towards the cost of training
  • Information on various funding options available to your organisation

Help is available for local employers to access Kickstart to create new six-month job placements for young people. There are zero costs to employers with funding available to cover 100% of the salary costs relevant to National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week.
