Courses and sessions for new parents or parents to be

Salford City Council is offering two free courses for before and after the birth as well as regular weekly sessions to meet other parents.

Before and after the baby

Our online antenatal course 'Understanding pregnancy, labour, birth and your baby' is a great place to get started.

Developed by midwives it will give you practical information about pregnancy and birth, explain why people around the baby are so important and helps you start a relationship with your baby before they are born.

The postnatal course called ‘Getting to know your baby’ looks at babies’ physical and emotional development and how important play is as well as how to understand and respond to crying and developing healthy sleep patterns.

To register or get more information on either course please call Salford Early Help team on 0161 686 7235.
