We are pleased to launch the Salford Annual SEND Survey.
Our Annual SEND Survey is an important opportunity for parent carers across Salford to share their experiences of SEND services, identify what is working well, highlight where improvements are needed, and tell us what matters most to families.
We undertake the survey every year because the experiences of families can change, services develop, and new challenges emerge. Gathering this feedback regularly allows us to understand the current picture for families and identify themes and priorities over time. The findings help inform our work with local services and support us to ensure that parent carer voice and lived experience are at the heart of SEND planning, development and improvement.
The more parent carers who take part, the stronger and more representative the picture we can build of the experiences of SEND families across Salford.

Salford Parent Carer Forum is an independent parent carer-led organisation representing the voices and lived experiences of families of children and young people with SEND. We work strategically in partnership with education, health, social care and wider SEND services across Salford to promote meaningful co-production and ensure that parent carer voice is at the heart of decision-making and service development.
