On this page you can find all the things you will need to help support and amplify Salford Easter of Fun.

Building on the success and messaging of 2021, 2022, and 2023, for the 2024 campaigns the following resources will help share the message. These include:

  1. Social media assets:

We’ve provided a range of social media images, alt text and suggested copy. Please feel free to use the copy supplied or create your own messages linking back to www.salford.gov.uk/HAF. And don’t forget to tag us on Instagram: @salford_council, Facebook: @salfordcouncil and X @SalfordCouncil with the hashtags #HAF2024 or #SalfordEasterOfFun

Email copy can provide a brief summary of the programme and can be shared via newsletters.

Children and young people aged four to 16 who are eligible for benefits related free school meals can access a range of fun free activities this winter.

Funded by the Department of Education, Salford’s Holiday Activity and Food programme is a package of support for children and young people on benefits related free school meals. The programme provides free access to activities and food during the Christmas period.

Whether its arts and crafts, dance, sports or drama, Salford’s #HAF2024 programme has something for everyone! A wide range of organisations have come together to deliver a range of activities across Salford allowing children and young people to access age-appropriate sessions in their local community.

Additional resources 

We will do our best to provide you with the resources you require as soon as possible. Please submit your request by emailing david.bird@salford.gov.uk with your request and all info outlined below: 

  • Name of organisation
  • Contact and address/details for delivery of leaflets/posters but preferably whether you can collect from the Civic Centre reception or a Gateway in your area (located in Swinton, Eccles, Pendleton, Walkden and Broughton)
  • Leaflet quantities
  • Where will the leaflets be displayed?
  • Who will the leaflets be distributed to?
  • Any other queries
