Young people from across Salford are invited to come together for a day of celebration, creativity and community at Salford Youth Pride on Thursday 13 August.
Taking place at The Deans Youth Centre, the ticketed event offers young people a safe and welcoming space to celebrate who they are, make new friends and take part in a range of activities and workshops throughout the day.
As part of the celebrations, young people will walk to Salford Civic Centre to meet city leaders, enjoy a picnic on the lawn and take part in fun lawn games.
The celebrations continue later in August when Salford's young people will take part in Manchester Pride with their very own Youth Pride float. Inspired by this year's theme, No Place Like Home, young people will help design and decorate the float, showcasing what home, community and belonging mean to them in Salford.
This is a free ticketed event and is open to any young people across Salford between the ages of 11 and 17.
