In order to control and prevent the spread of disease, a number of animal movement licences apply to livestock. These licences outline conditions that must be adhered to and specify the reporting requirements of movements. The conditions which apply to these movements vary according to the type of animal, the destination and the type of trip. In addition, these conditions are constantly being altered and so it is important that you make yourself aware of the latest conditions when applying for or making a movement under a licence.
