Electrician Installation Apprentice

Employer: J and R Electrical 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: You will be paid £6.40 per hour to start which will increase after the first year. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, your salary will be £16.84 per hour. 24 days holiday a year plus public holidays.

Location: Manchester

The role - What you’ll be doing:

• Work on new build construction sites across the North West
• Work on residential sites – houses, apartment block & extra care homes
• Work the hours Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm (on site)
• Possibly be available to work overtime including weekends
• Fill in a weekly time sheet with work description for the activities undertaken each day
• Work to a high standard of Health and Safety
• Possibly work away from home in the future

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 4/C in GCSE Maths and English
• Candidates will have to get to a pickup point every morning in Salford, however a driver or learning to drive would be an advantage
