You can join our free Weigh Ahead course from venues across Salford or the comfort of your own home, and courses are available at a time that suits you. Over six weeks, Weigh Ahead will support you to make healthier choices to keep the weight off for good.
Maintaining a healthy weight can help you to avoid conditions like heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancer, as well as giving you more energy to enjoy life. We’ve been helping the people of Salford to lose weight for almost two decades!

You’ll receive a free pack of resources to help you lose weight – measuring spoons to help with portion control, a tape measure to track your waist circumference, a food label guide to make healthier choices while shopping, a recipe book, and more.

Online courses are held over Microsoft Teams. You can take part from home, via your laptop, tablet, or mobile phone. You’ll need an email address to register for an online course. Our friendly staff are happy to help set you up and resolve any uncertainty around using Microsoft Teams.
