The Children’s Portal will be unavailable from 4.30pm on Friday 24 July until 8.30am on Monday 3 August due to planned system maintenance.
During this period, online referrals and requests for services cannot be submitted through the Portal.

Children’s Social Care, Early Help and LADO services will continue to operate during this period.
Where appropriate, we ask professionals and partner agencies to consider whether non-urgent requests for services can be submitted once the Portal becomes available again on Monday 3 August. If you are unsure whether a referral should be made, or whether it can safely wait until the Portal reopens, please contact Bridge for advice either before or during the downtime period.

Salford City Council and our partners have a multi-agency hub called the Bridge Partnership that screen all contacts concerning the welfare or safety of a child.
The Bridge Partnership can be contacted by telephone on 0161 603 4500 from 8.30am to 4.30pm. If you need to speak to somebody about your referral of concern outside these hours, please call the Emergency Duty Team on 0161 794 8888.
All referrals and request for support concerning the welfare or safety of a child must go through the Bridge Partnership via our online portal, which you can access below.
