In Salford we know there are still a wide range of opportunities on offer and some new ones starting over the next few months and we want to help you understand what is available and help you to access it.

If you want to find out more about what is available or if you are unsure what you next steps into further training or employment might be, then please send us an email at:

  3. Postcode of where you live in Salford
  4. What you need help with, for example
    • finding a job
    • looking for training or education
  1. What is your current situation, for example:
    • recently unemployed and looking for work
    • unemployed for longer than three months
    • recently completed education at college or other training

Who receives my email?

The Skills and Work team at Salford City Council will receive your email and respond directly to you.

What happens after I email you?

Once we receive your email, we will try to respond to you within two working days.

We may need to gather more information such as your current situation, your career goals which will then help us to signpost you to the appropriate service or provider that can best help you. This may involve the Skills and Work team sharing your details with another service or provider. If we need to do this, we will ask you for your consent.
